UB School of Law's full-time faculty are noted scholars, skilled practitioners and nationally recognized experts in their fields. They are totally committed to student success.
Our adjunct faculty are leaders in the legal community who bring decades of practical experience into the classroom.
So the faculty at the University of Baltimore are nationally-renowned scholars in a wide array of fields, and they bring that expertise into the classroom. So our students are taught by people who are at the top of their field and have in-depth knowledge about the material that they're teaching.
Not only do they know the theories of the law, but they have applied those rules out there in practice, and they know how to share that with their students. Many of our faculty members have done extensive media with the national cable networks, with local media, in terms of writing op-eds with the Baltimore Sun, with the Washington Post. So faculty members are not only recognized, but are sought after.
All our professors are very involved in the community through bar associations, legal services organizations, in a whole wide array of ways. And so we know the judges and the lawyers in our community, and we're able to help our students network and build bonds with prominent lawyers in our community even before they graduate.
A lot of the practitioners, judges, lawyers are UV alumni themself, and the professors take the opportunity to bring the students into that legal community and open doors for us and create network connections that have been fundamental for myself and many other students.
